Hello Stampers ~ a pretty Handmade Snowflake Christmas Card is on the blog today.
Well I did not do any work on unpacking today. I had a workshop this morning and then Barb and I spent the afternoon grocery shopping. When I got home I had to go to the recycling center to take over some empty boxes. By that time it was dinner time. It was great to spend the day doing something besides unpacking boxes and washing dishes. Today I will help Barb with some food prep for her company and then I will unpack and wash more dishes. I have a few things I need to put away and I have to see if I can find some drawer organization bins. I haven’t had much luck in the stores so going to check out some places online. Anybody know of a place I might find some?
I am sharing another Christmas stamp set that is retiring today. I will miss this set a lot as I love the beautiful snowflakes in the set. I began with a panel of Whisper White. I used the large snowflake and Pool Party ink to stamp the snowflake all over. I used first, second, and third generation stamping to get the depth on the panel. This panel was added to a Pool Party layer. I also used a larger panel to stamp the swirl using the different generation stamping also. The Silver metallic edge ribbon was added to the upper left hand corner of this panel and then the panel was added to a Pool Party card base. Using dimensionals I added the stamped snowflake panel to the lower right hand corner of the card base. On another piece of Whisper White I stamped the sentiment and then used the trimmer to cut it down some. The sentiment panel was added to a Pool Party panel and then attached to the card base using dimensionals. To finish the card a bow was added to the ribbon in the upper left hand corner. Here is the completed Handmade Snowflake Christmas Card.
